Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester already wants to make a sequel to Christmas flick EXmas.

The festive flick also stars The Flash's Robbie Amell as the other half of a pair of exes who are forced to spend Christmas together, when Graham arrives home to find his family already celebrating with ex-fiancée Ali (Meester).

And, despite the film's November 17 US release date, Meester has revealed that she's already got an eye on the unofficial Exmas 2.

Speaking the Best magazine, she said: "The fun was constant! This is the most fun I’ve ever had on a set, which I think also comes across when you watch the movie."

“I just want a sequel right away,” she continued.

Meester also shared that she thinks the bloopers from the first film could be a sequel in itself.

"I’m sure there’s so much footage of us all behind the scenes just cracking up and that could make a movie of itself. It felt very much like a real family right away, everybody was getting along so well, beyond what I could have imagined."

She also added that the set was harmonious as one would expect from a Christmas comedy, explain, "The dynamics were so cosy, comfortable, supportive – and, above all, hilarious. Everybody brought something different – there were little things that didn’t even make the movie."

In the same interview, Meester also revealed that the "funniest" scene of the film was during a scene where the cast has to act high.

“One of the funniest times was just going round the table with a fish-eye lens on camera and seeing each actor's reactions when a pot brownie is going into their system.

“Just sitting back and trying to hold it together when everyone is giving their best stoned performance to the camera, it was impossible to keep it together.”

EXmas also stars What We Do in the Shadows' Veronika Slowikowska, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies star Steven Huy, Puppy Love's Michael Hitchcock and Kathryn Greenwood.

EXmas is available on Amazon Freevee now; there is currently no UK release date.
