ROXY SIMONS: This year is really the year of Hannah Waddingham. I love getting to see you everywhere and everything. But I wonder for you, like, how did you-- how does that feel, like, to have this kind of boost in your career now at this point?
HANNAH WADDINGHAM: Well, it's kind of been accidental. It wasn't-- you know, I was asked to host the Oliviers, and was so, so blown over to be asked. Then, I was asked to do Eurovision. And as I was saying to somebody earlier, I genuinely thought somebody had dropped out.
So when I heard they hadn't, I just thought, oh my god. I don't know how this has come about. But I'm so grateful that it did. And I would happily present it every year if I could, and be the new Katie Boyle or Terry Wogan.
And then, I think we had already spoken to Apple, and started developing this all last year. But my schedule was very heavy. So it's kind of happened as an accident, that things have kind of stacked up as much as they have.
But I tell you what. '24 is going to have to go some to be better than '23. That's for sure.
