Harry Potter's Warwick Davis Hits Twitter To Find His Stolen Caravan
Warwick Davis has had his caravan stolen.
So what’s the best course of action to recover his wheeled holiday home? Jump on Twitter, obviously, to get the word out there.
The star of the Harry Potter series, who’s next to be seen in the new Star Wars movie, posted his predicament after the caravan was stolen from Yaxley in Cambridgeshire.
“My touring caravan was stolen in Cambridgeshire last night even though it was locked up with hitch & wheel lock! I want to swear… #rotters,” he wrote.
“If you stole our caravan or know who did, please can we have the sentimental items back that are of no use to you? Special holiday memories.”
The message was then retweeted over 1000 times, with the likes of Chris Moyle and presenter Stephen Mulhern weighing in to help out.
And indeed, several fans tweeted back to Warwick to say they’d seen it.
“It was spotted heading east of Yaxley, Peterborough towed by blue pickup, sparks flying from a dragging wheel lock,” he wrote.
Another added that they’d seen it driving ‘too fast’ down Main Street in Yaxley.
He later thanked fans for their 'amazing support’, and even congratulated one follower on a gag…
Cambridgeshire Police confirmed that they were also investigating the theft of the caravan.
