Honest Oscar posters rule nominations day once again

It’s Oscar nominations day once again, and while everyone wants to know how many nominations ‘La La Land’ got (it’s 14), who’s been snubbed (it’s ‘Deadpool’), and how badly the Academy voters screwed up this year (they did much better than usual), the only thing we care about is movie blog The Shiznit’s annual “If Oscar nominated movie posters told the truth” gallery.

Previous year’s efforts included ‘The Revenant’ as ‘F***ed by a Bear: The Leonardo DiCaprio Story’, ‘Boyhood’ as ‘Puberty Timelapse’, and ’12 Years a Slave’ as ‘White Guilt: The Movie’.

Thankfully 2017’s nominees have also provided us with some comedy gold.
