Is Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk Planning To Destroy Priceless WWII Plane?
It’s being claimed that Christopher Nolan’s new war movie, ‘Dunkirk’, may be planning a shocking stunt.
IndieRevolver reports that the studio behind the movie, Warner Bros, has signed off the purchase of a genuine World War II plane, at a cost of $5 million (£3.4 million).

Thought to be a German Luftwaffe fighter, a source at the studio claims that the plane will be fitted with an IMAX camera, and then crashed.
The hugely ambitious movie is already using actual World War II-era war ships in its quest for authenticity, as well as original Spitfires.
However, whether the production would deliberately destroy a piece of history remains to be seen, and Warner has not commented on the speculation.
The movie will tell the story of Operation Dynamo, also known as 'the miracle of Dunkirk’, the rescue of 330,000 Allied troops who had become surrounded by the German army in May, 1940.
The evacuation ended on June 4, with Winston Churchill delivering his famously rousing 'we shall fight on the beaches’ speech soon after.
Nolan’s take on events features a star-studded cast, including Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Fionn Whitehead and Cillian Murphy.
One Direction’s Harry Styles has also snagged a role as an Allied soldier.
Pictures from the scenes being filmed in Dunkirk have already been published, featuring swathes of extras (and a few cardboard cut-outs).
Filming in France, the Netherlands, the UK and then Los Angeles, it is due for release on July 21, 2017.
