Bradley Marten, a grandparent from Orlando, Florida, has decided to out the Minions toy given away at the popular burger gaff.

Posting a video online, he demonstrates the sweary sidekick’s line in banter, as it appears to say ‘what the f**k’.

Mr Merten told WFTV: “It turned out to be a toy that decided to talk profanity.

“I can’t believe it’s coming out of a toy.”

Advising others, he added that parents should 'check their toys before they hand them over’.

It wasn’t just Mr Merten who took issue with the Caveman Minion’s phrasing either.

Two dads from Columbus, Ohio, also spotted the seemingly x-rated remarks, Taylor King telling WTTE News: “I heard what it said and I’m like, 'Whoa, hang on here’. It clearly says what it says.”

Robert Frazier added: “As soon as we heard it, her mom took it away. I listened to it and that’s when we found out that’s what it was saying.”

A representative for McDonalds told the Hollywood Reporter that the toys are in fact speaking 'Minionese’, and not swearing like a docker.

“Minions speak ‘Minionese’ which is a random combination of many languages and nonsense words and sounds,” they said.

“We’re aware of a very small number of customers who have been in touch regarding this toy, and we apologize for any confusion or offence to those who may have interpreted the sounds for anything other than jibberish.

“The allegation that this toy is saying any offensive phrase is not true. Any perceived similarities to actual English words are purely coincidental.”
