'Isle of Dogs': Exclusive character portraits from Wes Anderson's stop-motion adventure

Wes Anderson’s superb stop motion animation Isle of Dogs is out now on Digital Download, and to celebrate the imminent DVD and Blu-ray release on Monday, 6 August, we’ve got our paws on some exclusive new images to support the film.

These handsomely staged character portraits (or should that be paw-traits?) feature the film’s stellar voice cast alongside the models used to animate their characters in the film. So, if you’re barking mad for glossy photos of A-list stars like Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, and Bill Murray cosying up to puppets, then click this way for more.

Synopsis: Isle of Dogs tells the story of Atari Kobayashi, 12-year-old ward to corrupt Mayor Kobayashi. When all the canine pets of Megasaki City are exiled to vast Trash Island, Atari sets off in search of his bodyguard dog, Spots. With the assistance of his newfound mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.
