Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds’ bromance has the internet aflutter
The internet loves nothing more than a bromance that blossoms in the public eye. But Joe Biden and Barack Obama now have some stiff competition in the shape of Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal because the duo have been showcasing their friendship to the world while out promoting ‘Life’, and people just love it.
Reynolds and Gyllenhaal have spent the last few weeks conducting numerous interviews to support the sci-fi horror film. But rather than finding the endless array of questions laborious they’ve clearly just enjoyed being alongside each other, as their chats regarding the film have dissolved into long bouts of quips and giggles.
Just look at the recent interview they conducted with Fox 5, which saw Reynolds and Gyllenhaal handed ‘Deadpool’ pins, only for the latter to immediately throw his away in disgust. Things got even sillier from there, too. But there’s some NSFW language so those who are easily offended should proceed cautiously.
There are plenty more where that came from. Gyllenhaal and Reynolds had the same jovial camaraderie throughout their discussion with Collider. Once again this clip features some NSFW language.

Even when Jake Gyllenhaal has been by himself he has been gushing about Reynolds. When he was on The One Show Gyllenhaal said of Reynolds, “He’s a wonderful man. It’s rare in our business where you meet somebody who is a contemporary and there is literally no competition. Just a real love. It’s just friends that you meet in a certain time in your life.”
Gyllenhaal even told Jimmy Fallon that their antics while shooting ‘Life’ actually cost the film money, as he explained, “When we would cut, we just couldn’t stop laughing and joking. We wasted so much money. The producers brought us in the corner and were like, ‘You guys need to cut it out. We’re wasting so much money.’”
Clearly a studio needs to just cut to chase and put these two in a buddy comedy together, so that we can their love plastered up on screen. Until then we’ll just have to put up with ‘Life’, which is in cinemas on March 24.
