Appearing in a trio of new set images, Jake Gyllenhaal, Tilda Swinton and Ahn Seo-hyun star in ‘Okja’ – the upcoming South Korean-American action-adventure flick from ‘Snowpiercer’ director, Bong Joon-ho.
But you might not recognise them.
At least, not at first…
These impressive new images showcase give us our first glimpse at ‘Okja’.. although sadly, we still haven’t laid eyes on the titular gigantic animal just yet.
But here’s what we’ve seen so far:
Ahn Seo-hyun stars as Mija – caretaker and companion to a massive creature named Okja, who has lived in peace in the mountains of South Korea for the past ten years.
And there are some folks who won’t leave them be…
Jake Gyllenhall stars as Dr Johnny Wilcox – a zoologist, TV personality and the face of the Mirando Corporation, who clear wants to use Okja for their own ends.
Tilda Swinton stars as Lucy Mirando – CEO of Mirando Corporation, who has big plans for Okja which just happen to line up with a corporate rebranding of her company.
Clearly, there’s a lot more going on than meets the eye…
