Jake Johnson won’t be back in Jurassic World 2
It looks as though Jake Johnson won’t be back in ‘Jurassic World 2’.
He may have been one of the comedic highlights of ‘Jurassic World’ but according to actor Jake Johnson himself, his character Lowery Cruthers won’t be returning to the park in the upcoming ‘Jurassic World’ sequel.
“From what I hear Lowery will not be in JW2,” he said via Twitter.

Of course, that’s hardly surprising.
Lowery Cruthers added a certain something to the movie, with his goofy charm and comedy beats lightening the mood as he cut through the tension in the room… but after surviving the events of ‘Jurassic World’ as an employee of the park, it’s unlikely he’d want to go back to Islar Nublar anytime soon.
Not if he values his life.
Still, Jake Johnson’s small role was certainly memorable.
“I understand people died,” he said of the original Jurassic Park. “It was terrible, but - that first park was legit.”
Easily one of the most memorable lines of the entire movie… and with plenty of small moments like this, Johnson was the unexpected scene stealer who added a touch of comedy to the otherwise very serious film.
‘Jurassic World 2’ stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
J. A Bayona will direct, based on a script by Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow.
‘Jurassic World 2’ heads to cinemas on 8 June 2018.
