Judi Dench grills Daisy Ridley with Star Wars: The Last Jedi questions

Despite the fact that they’re supposed to be hard at work filming ‘Murder On The Orient Express’, Josh Gad has done what any self-respecting ‘Star Wars’ would do and peppered his co-star Daisy Ridley with questions regarding ‘The Last Jedi’.

So far, over two videos, Daisy Ridley hasn’t nudged in the slightest. In an attempt to make Ridley open up about the sequel Josh Gad decided to bring in some pretty impressive fresh blood in the shape of Judi Dench. The beloved national icon and Oscar-winning actress was just as forceful in her interrogation as Josh Gad, and you can see her inundate Daisy Ridley with questions below.

Judi Dench had some solid ‘Star Wars’ questions for Daisy Ridley, as she asked whether or not Rey has been tested for midichlorians? Is Snope actually Emperor Palpatine? Is Rey the Last Jedi? And, finally, what’s the deal with Reylo; the fan fiction that depicts Rey and Kylo Ren together as a couple?

As you’d expect considering that she’s basically talking to royalty, Daisy Ridley seemed much more likely to open up to Judi Dench about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. In fact, after Dench scolded her with, “Why don’t you just answer my damn questions?” Ridley responded with a simple, “OK.”

Which suggests that Judi Dench now harbours a hoard of information regarding ‘The Last Jedi’ that someone should immediately try to tickle out of her.

Or, rather than torturing an 82-year-old woman, we could just wait until ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ is released on December 15, 2017.
