Universal has unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for Jurassic World: Rebirth, an action-packed film set to captivate audiences this summer.
The release marks a significant milestone, arriving three years after the conclusion of the Jurassic World trilogy. It also marks the seventh chapter in the action-packed and beloved franchise.
Some of Hollywood's biggest names are in the film, including Scarlett Johansson as the lead character Zora Bennett. In the trailer, Zora is tasked with leading a dangerous expedition to obtain genetic material from dinosaurs, which will be used to create a life-saving drug.
Zora navigates a high-risk mission in the trailer — abseiling down a towering cliff to retrieve a dinosaur egg sample, only to face a deadly attack. The trailer intensifies with thrilling moments, including Zora and her team fleeing for their lives.
A synopsis for the film, directed by British filmmaker Gareth Edwards, reads: “Set five years after Jurassic World Dominion, an expedition ventures into remote equatorial regions to extract DNA from three colossal prehistoric creatures for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough.”
