Keanu Reeves is back in new John Wick: Chapter 2 trailer

John Wick is back… and this time, his dog is fine.

Starring Keanu Reeves as legendary hitman John Wick, it looks as though a new trailer for ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ has exploded online. He may claim that he’s ‘not that guy anymore’ but it’s nightclubs, shoot-outs and hidden gun caches all the way.

And he’s got a nice new suit, too.

There’s plenty going on here, and it looks as though ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ focusses on the fallout from the first film. There’s threats, old ‘friends’ and a ton of bad guys trying their best to kill John Wick. Oh and someone’s even trying to give Wick even more guns.

So what’s it all about?

“Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild,” says the official synopsis.

So far, so Wick.

“Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers. Lionsgate’s ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ arriving in theaters on February 10, 2017.”

Basically, if you thought ‘John Wick’ was a bit OTT, you’re about to get blown away by ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’. Even Lawrence Fishburne gets in on the action with an awesome pun. Yeah.

‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ stars Keanu Reeves as John Wick. He’s joined by Ian McShane, Bridget Moynahan, Laurence Fishburne, John Leguizamo and Peter Stormare.

Chad Stahelski will direct the movie, based on a screenplay by Derek Kolstad.

‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ heads to cinemas on 17 February 2017.
