Acting legend Kirk Douglas enjoyed a family get together over the weekend with four generations of his family.

Sitting at the head of the table the Spartacus star, 102, posed for photos with his wife Anne, 100, his sons Michael, 74, Joel, 72, and Peter, 63, along with their extended family including Michael’s wife Catherine Zeta Jones, and great-grand child Lua.

Cameron Douglas, Kirk’s 40-year-old grandson, and son of Wall Street star Michael Douglas shared a photo of the 14 members Kirk clan on Instagram with the caption “#Familyfirst”.

She paid tribute to her brothers Ryan and Tyler Douglas, sons of Peter, who were unable to make the reunion.

In 2010 Cameron Douglas was sentenced to five years in prison for possessing heroin and dealing large amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine out of a New York hotel room.

“My son was a drug dealer, and he’s been trying to kill himself for a while,” Michael Douglas said on The Today Show after his sentencing. “I can’t condone his behaviour. I think the court recognised his drug addiction as well as the crime that he committed and it’s an adequate, I think, amount of time for anybody to spend in jail.

Cameron Douglas was released early from prison on 1 August, 2016.

In December 2017 Cameron and partner Viviane Thibes welcomed their first child - and Kirk’s first great-grandchild together - daughter Lua Izzy.
