Goth rocker Marilyn Manson has been appearing in movies since the late 90s, but his latest finds him looking pretty unrecognisable.

‘Let Me Make You A Martyr’ sees Manson playing a native American hitman by the name of Pope.

Written and directed by newcomers Corey Asraf and John Swab, it follows the story of Drew Glass (played by ‘Sons of Anarchy’ star Niko Nicotera), who returns to his hometown to a run-in with his adopted father, the abusive crime boss Larry Glass, played by another Sons of Anarchy alumnus, Mark Boone Junior (Manson was also in the show).

Things go awry when Drew and his adopted sister June (Sam Quartin) decide to run away together, and hire a hitman to dispose of their father.

But Larry hires Manson’s Pope to murder them instead.

It’s a bleak-sounding affair, but judging by the clip, an intriguing one.

“Mark [Boone Junior] brought me into the project,” Manson told Rolling Stone about the movie. “We were friends from ‘Sons of Anarchy’. He’s sort of my unwanted mentor. He tells me what to do. He’s always encouraged me, but he’s very bossy about it. He says things like, ‘You gotta do this, motherf**ker. You’ll like this.'”

It’s due out in July.
