Matt Damon hailed as a 'time traveller' after picture from 1961 emerges

It’s not a case of if Matt Damon comes clean about being a time traveller, more when.

His cover has now been thoroughly blown, thanks to this dazzling picture of the ‘Martian’ star attending a wedding in 1961.

“My parents’ wedding day, February 1961. I think my dad looks like Matt Damon,” captioned a Reddit user called Coffeeandtrout after posting the picture.

‘Looks like’ being the understatement of the century, the comments quickly confirmed the rather striking likeness.

Many eschewed the ‘time traveller’ explanation, concluded ‘Matt Damon a vampire? Confirmed’.

So he’s either the guy from ‘Quantum Leap’ or the Prince of Darkness, then.

It emerged that the gent in the tuxedo is now 71 and lives in Seattle, but hoping to kibosh the speculation, Coffeeandtrout confirmed that his dad is taller than the actor.

We’re still unconvinced.
