Fans thrilled as 'magic' Mission: Impossible 7 trailer lands online

The first trailer for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One has been released and fans can't get enough.
The trailer originally premiered at CinemaCon last month and appeared to leak online yesterday but it has now been officially released publicly.
The trailer for the seventh installment of the Mission Impossible franchise will be played before Top Gun: Maverick when that is released in cinemas on 25 May.

The teaser shows Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt engaged in various globetrotting stunts including riding a bike off a cliff, driving a bright yellow Fiat through the streets of Italy and getting involved in a firefight while on horseback.
Fans have been reacting positively to the clip with one tweeting: "Smiling so big after watching the Mission Impossible trailer. That’s movie magic baby."
Another posted on Twitter that the film looks "absolutely insane" with a different fan joking that "my gospel is the new Mission Impossible trailer".
Other reactions include calling the clip "wild", "brilliant" and "magnificent".

The trailer also shows us the large ensemble cast. Returning to the series for the first time since 1996's original installment, Henry Czerny is back as former IMF director Eugene Kitteridge.

Also returning from previous films is Ving Rhames who is the only cast member apart from Cruise to feature in all of the movies.
Simon Pegg is also back as tech whizz Benji while Rebecca Ferguson (complete with eyepatch) reprises her role as Ilsa Faust.
Vanessa Kirby also returns from Mission: Impossible – Fallout as the White Widow, a black market arms dealer.
The trailer also offers glimpses of the new additions to the film including Esai Morales, who plays the film's as yet unnamed villain and several scenes showing Hayley Atwell are also included.
New additions to the cast also include Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Cary Elwes, Mark Gatiss and Rob Delaney.
It has been reported that Dead Reckoning Parts One and Two will be the last time Cruise plays Hunt though there has been no official confirmation that the 59-year-old actor wishes to step away from the role.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is released in cinemas on July 14, 2023, while Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two will be released on June 28, 2024.
