Netflix is bringing out the stars for a glamorous festive slate, which mingles bona fide blockbusters of the big and small screens with the first salvos of awards season prestige. And then there's whatever category Emily in Paris fits into.

Perhaps most notably, Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio will join forces for Adam McKay's satirical comedy Don't Look Up, in which they play scientists trying to convince the world to take a potentially cataclysmic threat seriously. Wonder where the inspiration for that one came from.

Elsewhere, Henry Cavill is once again wielding a sword for The Witcher and nostalgia is back in action as Cobra Kai unveils a fourth season. In terms of other big screen efforts, there's Benedict Cumberbatch on Oscar-bothering form in Jane Campion western The Power of the Dog and Olivia Colman once again being effortlessly brilliant in The Lost Daughter.
