What's leaving Netflix in March 2024?
From The Angry Birds Movie to Oasis: Supersonic, there's a lot subscribers will have to catch up on before March
March marks the first signs of spring and Netflix, like members of the public, is planning some spring cleaning itself by removing several titles to make space for the new.
The streaming platform will be taking a plethora of TV shows and films off of its service beginning 1 March, with titles being removed steadily over the course of the month. Netflix users in the UK will have to try and catch up quick before the titles are gone for good, or moved to a different platform.
From family favourites to blockbuster hits and comedy classics, there are a lot that subscribers will have to say goodbye to in the near future. With our thanks to What's On Netflix for the list, here is everything you need to know.
What's leaving Netflix in March 2024?
The biggest day for removals is 1 March, with 30 titles set to be taken off the platform on the day. There are several animated films that subscribers with families might miss including The Angry Birds Movie, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, and Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper.
Other removals on the day include four Jackass movies, Julia Roberts' 2010 rom-com Eat Pray Love, and Sean Penn's critically acclaimed 2007 film Into The Wild. Mark Wahlberg's film Patriots Day, which dramatises the events of the Boston Marathon bombing, will also be taken off Netflix on 1 March.
Music fans will have to bid adieu to Oasis: Supersonic on 1 March as well, the documentary examines the rise of the iconic rock band and dives deep into the relationship of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.
4 March will be the last day that fans of the Godzilla franchise can watch Godzilla vs. Kong as it is being removed from the platform the following day. The removal comes ahead of the film series' next instalment Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire on 15 March in cinemas.
Another notable removals of the month is Oscar Isaac's thriller The Card Counter, which is being removed from Netflix on 7 March, and horror hit Insidious: Chapter 3 on 1 March.
