New Fantastic Beasts TV spots shows off some magical creatures

There’s not long to wait until ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ hits cinemas, but now we’ve had a better glimpse at the creatures causing all the fuss.

Warner Bros. have released a few new TV spots that give us a look at the so-called fantastic beasts themselves, as they inevitably escape the clutches of Newt Scamander (played by Eddie Redmayne) and cause havoc in 1920s New York.

In the first 30-second peek, we’re introduced to Scamander as he arrives in NYC and we see the CGI monsters escaping his luggage. There’s no doubt it’s a cool look at what fans can expect this November; as long as they don’t continue to show more and more of the juicy stuff prior to when we experience it fresh at the cinema.

The other short spot focuses on some of the bigger and badder nasties that escape, as well as a look at Colin Farrell’s Percival Graves. Both trailers are CGI-heavy but with David Yates returning to the Harry Potter universe to helm, anticipation levels are rather high.

There’s no doubt fans will be expecting a lot from this new movie and indication thus far points towards another stellar spell-binding adventure to follow on from the eighth movie ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2′. However, unlike previous film instalments this one has no accompanying book. Instead, J.K. Rowling has written the screenplay - her first attempt, no less - so it’ll be interesting to see if it lives up to the Potter adaptations.
