Despite losing out in the Best Supporting Actress category, ‘Lion’ star Nicole Kidman somehow managed to dominate the conversation online, all thanks to her crazy clapping.

The Australian actress was filmed applauding in the audience and beyond her unconventional method, her hands also looked abnormally large.

Some people on Twitter pointed out that she was probably clapping like this because she was wearing rings, while others just jumped in to take the mick with one Twitter using saying her hands were like “boomerangs”.

Unfortunately for Nicole she was unable to deploy her new clapping technique for ‘Lion’ as it failed to win any of the six awards it was nominated for at the Oscars.
