Looking very dapper indeed, Ryan Reynolds has shared a shot from the set of forthcoming action-comedy Red Notice.

Reynolds posted the candid snap on the occasion of his co-star The Rock's birthday – he turned 48 on May 2.

“Today is @therock’s birthday,” he captioned.

“There’ll be a lot of well wishes for him. He deserves it. This year, we fulfilled a lifelong dream: shooting exactly half a film called RED NOTICE before being promptly shut down.

“Had we not spent 90 percent of our time laughing, we might have finished it in time. Happy Birthday, Bubba.”

The movie finds Johnson playing the world's greatest INTERPOL agent, who goes head-to-head with the world's greatest art thief, played by Gal Gadot, and the world's greatest con man, played by Reynolds.

A ‘red notice’ is issued by INTERPOL for the arrest of a certain individual (there are also blue, green, yellow, black, orange and purple notices).

But as Reynolds notes, the movie is among the projects curtailed by the global pandemic.

Filming began in Atlanta in January, but a location shoot in Italy was cancelled following the outbreak of coronavirus, before the production was halted on March 14.

It was originally to be released by Netflix in June, 2020, but was shunted back to November, and now has no fixed date slated.
