Secret Cinema Launches New Empire Strikes Back Trailer

To celebrate the start of its ‘Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back’ event this summer, immersive cinema firm Secret Cinema has released a new trailer for the classic 1980 film. Watch it above.

‘Secret Cinema presents Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back’ kicks off at a secret London location on Thursday, 4 June and is happening throughout the summer until 27 September.

The immersive event, which follows on from 2014′s hugely successful ‘Back To The Future’ event, promises to send audiences on a “journey through the world of ‘Star Wars’” before fans are treated to a special screening of ‘Episode V’.

Secret Cinema says ticket holders will be “transported into a richly detailed galactic space opera” calling the event “one of the most ambitious and dreamlike Secret Cinema experiences the UK has ever seen”. 

As is always the case with Secret Cinema events, fans are encouraged to dress up in character, and an official shop - RebelX Stores - has been opened in East London to provide costumes and appropriate attire for the Rebel-themed event.
