Following its ace take on 'The Hunger Games', the crew from 'Sesame Street' have taken on Tolkien.

Cookie Monster takes centre stage in 'Lord of the Crumbs', a biscuit-based adventure which poses certain educational problems to the loveable blue monster.

He plays Gobble, a distinctly Hobbit-ey creature who loses a hallowed recipe for cookies.

Gobble is then given a new recipe by the Muppet version of Cate Blanchett's Galadriel and is told to bake said cookies in the 'fires of Mount Crumb'.

But can he remember how many eggs go in? And can he ignore his 'bad self' and wait for the cookies without eating all the eggs first?

There are scrolls, prophesies, basic maths, a Gandalf Muppet and plenty of jeopardy... and it's all considerably shorter than a Peter Jackson epic.

(There's one out across the UK on December 13, in case you hadn't noticed).
