Spider-Man still not confirmed for Avengers: Infinity War
It looks as though Spider-Man might not be an Avenger yet…
During an interview with Collider, Marvel studio boss Kevin Feige revealed that they still haven’t decided whether Spider-Man will appear in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
“We’re figuring it out,” he teased. “I mean, it was really the specifics for Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming. Spider-Man: Homecoming just wrapped as you know and we’re just getting into cutting that movie, so that’s the primary focus but we are…that iceberg is thawed and is non existent. So we talk to them all the time about what could be fun for the future.”

It sounds as though the deal between Marvel and Sony is going well… and no doubt Marvel is keen to continue working with everyone’s favourite friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.
But will he appear in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’?
Even if he knows, at this stage Kevin Feige is giving nothing away.
“It is I would say that is part of the surprise,” he said. “I don’t want to spoil anything one way or another.”
It may not be set in stone just yet, but we can’t help thinking that chances are we’ll see Spider-Man in ‘Infinity War’. After all, it’s great exposure for the Spider-Man brand and a lovely cameo for Marvel. Win win.
But one thing’s for certain - the X-Men definitely won’t be turning up.
“Well, it’s the same as it has always been,” he said of Marvel’s relationship with 20th Century Fox. “I don’t want to attribute it as a frozen wasteland or anything like that. We all get along and I see them occasionally but there’s no change in any dynamic.”
‘Avengers: Infinity War’ heads to cinemas on 27 April 2018.
