Stranger Things fans have been warned the hotly anticipated third series is set to be ‘gorier’ and is ‘not for the faint of heart’.

Stars of the show Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, and Sadie Sink appeared on Good Morning America to discuss the next instalment of the much loved Netflix series, and gave some clues about what fans can expect.

Host Michael Strahan asked the young actors if the show is set to be darker and scarier than previous seasons. With anticipation building, fast food chain Burger King have announced they are to sell an ‘upside down burger’, in homage to the creepy alternate reality in the series, which will be available to purchase at select restaurants to coincide with the release of the new season. Which begs the question, why is it only available at select stores, when surely it is just a case turning the burger over before serving?

Stranger Things returns for a third season on Netflix on 4 July . The first two seasons are available for streaming now.
