Stranger Things fans have been warned the hotly anticipated third series is set to be ‘gorier’ and is ‘not for the faint of heart’.
Stars of the show Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, and Sadie Sink appeared on Good Morning America to discuss the next instalment of the much loved Netflix series, and gave some clues about what fans can expect.
Host Michael Strahan asked the young actors if the show is set to be darker and scarier than previous seasons. Matarazzo, who plays the loveable Dustin, replied: “It’s definitely gorier, which is pretty cool. ‘If you don’t like gore stuff, I mean, watch it anyway. It’s not for the faint of heart, as some would say.”
David Harbour, who plays policeman Jim Hopper, has said the final episode of season three is the most ‘moving’ they’ve ever done. The 44-year-old said: “Millie [Eleven] is growing up and I think that’s the terrifying thing for Hopper.
“He doesn’t like the idea of his baby daughter hanging out with boys. So the season starts with him a little bit uncomfortable.
“You get to see a lot of that throughout the season and it’s very unexpected what happens in the end and it’s very, very moving. I think episode eight is the most moving thing we’ve ever shot.”

With anticipation building, fast food chain Burger King have announced they are to sell an ‘upside down burger’, in homage to the creepy alternate reality in the series, which will be available to purchase at select restaurants to coincide with the release of the new season. Which begs the question, why is it only available at select stores, when surely it is just a case turning the burger over before serving?
welcome to hawki—er, burger king. would you like an upside down whopper?
