Straight out of (what feels like) nowhere, Warner Bros. has just unleashed the first trailer for new British zombie thriller ‘The Girl With All The Gifts’, and it’s one of the most intriguing debut trailers we’ve seen in a long time. The film looks like a cross between ‘28 Days Later’ and ‘The Walking Dead’ - two of the best recent entries in the zombie genre - which can’t be a bad thing, and it stars Paddy Considine, Gemma Arterton, and Glenn Close alongside newcomer Sennia Nanua in the title role - also, definitely “not a bad thing”. The girl’s “gifts” appear to be some sort of immunity to the zombie pathogen that she’s been infected with in a twisted human experiment.
