1990s icon Sarah Michelle Gellar may be set to reprise her most notorious big screen role 17 years on. The 38-year old actress is being ‘courted’ by US TV network NBC to star in their upcoming pilot of ‘Cruel Intentions,’ a small-screen spin-off of the sexually charged 1999 teen drama, as reported by Deadline. Gellar was at the height of her ‘Buffy’ fame when she went from vampire slayer to vamp as the duplicitous rich girl Kathryn Merteuil in the high school-set reworking of ‘Dangerous Liasons,’ which co-starred Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe and Selma Blair.
