Thor: Ragnarok Director Talks Doctor Strange Cameo
Will Doctor Strange appear in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’?
It’s the question on everybody’s lips since a behind-the-scenes image hinted at an appearance from Earth’s Sorcerer Supreme. But in an interview with Digital Spy, director Taika Waititi was more than a little coy about the rumoured appearance.
“Ohhh I don’t know. I am not sure if… I don’t know actually. I can’t comment on it. It may have just been something for the fans.”

What’s it all about?
Well, Chris Hemsworth was snapped on the set of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ clutching a business card… and on the card was Doctor Strange’s address - 177A Bleecker St. Does this mean that Doctor Strange will make a brief cameo in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ or is it just something for the fans?
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ director implied that it may have been little more than an on set prank.
Or perhaps it’s a post credits scene…
“[It] Might be something like that,“ he said in response to the scene being a possible end credits stinger. “Might be a little tease. Or maybe a tease just for people who wanted to zoom into that photo.”
Of course, it could also be a neat cameo that the director and studio are trying to keep under wraps… and his comments might merely be a way of handling damage control after the set photos were leaked online.
Either way, there’s a definite connection to Doctor Strange here.
Whether or not the good doctor appears in the flesh, remains to be seen.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ heads to cinemas on 27 October 2017.
