Travis Kelce reveals Taylor Swift 'creates plays' on the football field for him
Travis Kelce has revealed girlfriend Taylor Swift has started to strategise about his football games.
His admission comes after Travis' teammate, Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, told how Taylor made plays to help with her American football knowledge.
"She's the most famous person in the world, and then she's really interested in football," Patrick told NBC last week. "She asked a lot of great questions. She's already drawing up plays, so we might have to put one in."
Now, Travis has confirmed that Taylor has become extremely interested in his tactics on the field.
"She has just been so open to learning the game," he said on the Rich Eisen Show. "She didn't know much about the rules and everything. I think she was just curious about the profession."
The 34-year-old added, "I know none of the plays have gotten to Coach Reid yet, but if they ever do I'll make sure everyone knows it was her creation."
It appears Taylor only does the work for Travis rather than the whole team. "She's a little biased and just creates plays for me," Travis said. "We'll see if they can make it to Coach Reid's office."
In the interview, Travis also spoke about his recent cameo performance on-stage at Wembley Stadium during Taylor's Eras Tour. He appeared in a tuxedo, before carrying Taylor across the stage.
"She put me in a position so that I didn't have to do much for it to be a success," he explained. "She put me in a really comfortable part of the show. I just didn't want to drop her when I was carrying her on that stage. That would have been the most embarrassing thing I ever could have done."
