Benedict Cumberbatch stars in the first of four short films by Wes Anderson that is based on Roald Dahl's writings, titled The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar.

The director has also made The Swan, The Ratcatcher and Poison, and the short films are being released within a day of each other on the streamer.

Each unique story perfectly evokes Anderson's unique style while also bringing to life Dahl's quirky yet fascinating writing to life in these delightful tales.

65 is Adam Driver taking on dinosaurs, what more could you possibly want? The action thriller sees the actor portray a time traveller who returns to pre-historic times and must fight off the iconic beasts in order to protect another human.

It promises to be full of epic action and is a unique blend of sci-fi and the pre-historic era, and will likely be a fun and easy watch for all involved.

Apple TV+ examines the trials of parenthood in Flora and Son, a comedy about a single mother trying to connect with her child through the power of music.

Starring Eve Hewson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, this feel-good film explores what it means to be a parent and the healing power of music.

The best films to watch on TV this weekend

For those without a streaming subscription, or for those just wondering what films are on the TV, look no further because Freeview also has a lot to offer this weekend.

Those interested in watching a Roald Dahl film can do so with Fantastic Mr. Fox, which was Anderson's first adaptation of a work by the beloved author and is a wonderful animation that to this day is one of the director's best films.

Elsewhere, on Saturday film fans can watch kitchen drama Boiling Point on Film4 ahead of the BBC TV show that continues the story from Sunday, while Sing is also being shown for a more family friendly piece.

Sunday boasts a number of great movies to choose from, including The Mask of Zorro starring Antonio Banderas as the swash-buckling hero, and the terrifying A Quiet Place.
