Daniel Radcliffe reveals crucial difference between Donald Trump and Voldemort
A number of people have been quick to point out the similarities between the Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump and a number of movie villains.
None more so that J.K. Rowling, who took to Twitter back in December to insist that “Voldemort was nowhere near as bad” as Donald Trump.
Daniel Radcliffe, who portrayed Harry Potter over the course of 8 films from the franchise, has now been asked about the comparison between Trump and “He Who Must Not Be Named.”
But rather than just agreeing with Rowling Radcliffe believes that there one big difference between the pair. Speaking to Sky News at the Empire Live film festival, Radcliffe remarked, “I sort of think Donald Trump might not be as ideologically pure as Voldemort.”
Radcliffe went on to add, “My thing on Trump is that he feels like more of an opportunist – like I don’t know how much of this stuff he’s saying he actually, really, really believes. And he hides behind the sort of thing of, ‘Oh, I’m just an entertainer’.”
Radcliffe didn’t just completely dismiss Rowling’s opinion of Trump, though, as he made sure to add, “But that comparison is certainly not without its merits.”
Either way, it’s quite clear that Radcliffe isn’t a massive fan of the potential 45th President Of The United States Of America.
