With most of Britain bracing itself for a much-needed four day weekend, broadcasters and streaming platforms are rolling out some amazing movies to keep the nation entertained over Easter.

Bank holidays have always been a great time for catching a movie on the sofa and this Easter is no different.

There's something for everyone across the UK channels and streaming platforms starting on Good Friday with the launch of all the James Bond films on Prime Video, right through to Easter Monday with Disney's live action Beauty and the Beast airing on BBC One while the roast potatoes are crisping up in the oven just in time for an Easter feast.

Dune (Sky Cinema)

Denis Villeneuve's Oscar-winning sci-fi adaptation Dune makes its UK streaming debut on NOW (with a Sky Cinema Membership) just in time for Easter weekend.

No Time To Die (Prime Video)

Daniel Craig's James Bond swan song No Time To Die will also make its streaming debut on Easter weekend via Prime Video, claiming 007's rightful place as the king of Bank Holiday weekend.

Joining No Time To Die on Prime Video for a limited time is every other canonical Bond film from 1962's Dr No, right up to 2015's Spectre. May we suggested 1977's The Spy Who Loved Me starring Sir Roger Moore for that ultimate Bank Holiday vibe?

For fans of bootleg Bond, Sean Connery's unofficial return as 007 in 1983's Never Say Never Again is on ITV4 on Easter Sunday.

Le Mans 66 (Disney+)

James Mangold delivers the ultimate dad movie with this period racing drama starring Christian Bale and Matt Damon. Le Mans 66 tells the story of Ford's attempt to overthrow Ferrari's stranglehold on motor racing in the 1960s, and it was nominated for Best Picture at the 2020 Oscars.

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock star in Jan De Bont's high concept 90s thriller which has only improved with air, and hits Disney's streaming platform on Friday.

The Young Victoria (Disney+)

Directed by Big Little Lies' Jean-Marc Vallée and written by Downton Abbey's Julian Fellowes, this lavish and surprisingly steamy period drama was a breakthrough role for Emily Blunt in the title role. The Young Victoria is another Disney+ addition for the Easter weekend.

PAW Patrol: The Movie (Sky Cinema from 16 April)
