Jason Momoa gets stuck in a lift for two hours with a wrestler, a boxer and a dog
The ability to summon the power of the sea didn't do Jason Momoa much good while he was stuck in a lift yesterday.
The Aquaman and Game of Thrones star found himself, his dog Rama and a couple of other pals stuck for two hours in a hotel lift in Vancouver waiting for engineers to come and free them.
Among the detainees was Momoa's friend Mada Abdelhamid, the Egyptian-born WWE wrestler who was his personal trainer on GoT and also worked behind the scenes with him on the DC movie Aquaman.

Also captive was Florian 'Big Nasty' Munteanu, the Romanian boxer who starred in Creed 2.
“Well, what’s going on, Big Nasty?” Momoa asks Munteanu, in a post to his Instagram Stories.
“We’re stuck on an elevator. Fire department really doesn’t want to show up. Get us out!” Munteanu then explains.
Luckily, the GoT star, who played nomadic horse-riding Dothraki leader Khal Drogo in the HBO fantasy series, had a bag of M&Ms to stave off imminent starvation.
To add to the drama, Momoa's stunt team then show up to try and help them escape.
“We’re just trying to get out. Trying to be Die Hard but it didn’t work out,” Momoa goes on to tell fans and followers.

Momoa recently finished work on Denis Villeneuve's hotly anticipated remake of Dune, due out in 2020, and was recently confirmed to lead See, the new mini-series which will be the flagship show of Apple TV's new streaming service Apple TV+.
The high concept series, to be directed by Hunger Games helmsman Francis Lawrence, will take place in a dystopian future where the human race has lost its sight.
According to reports, Apple is spending in the region of $15 million per episode on the show, comparable to Game of Thrones final season budgets.
