Justice League's Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg Costumes Detailed

Reports from the set of Warner Bros and Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ were published earlier today, offering a ton of details about the film’s plot, villain and tone.

The most headline-grabbing new information came in the form of descriptions of two key scenes from the movie, and the costumes that’ll be worn by its colourful cast of characters.

- Bryan Singer Wants A Mystique Solo Movie

Let’s start with Ben Affleck’s Batsuit and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman garb. The two costumes remain basically unchanged from 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ which is good news given how good they were. There is an alternate Batman costume coming though, for when the Dark Knight needs a bit more armour.

Birth Movies Death’s Deven Faraci was pleased with what he saw. “He gets a second costume later in the film - a tactical costume, with more armour plating (but UNDER the carbon mesh fibre of the suit, so he doesn’t look like he’s a robot again) and with cool goggles and with a bunch of straps on it - but otherwise it’s the same suit.”

Jason Mamoa’s Aquamans suit is a “scale mail outfit” with a gold top and tight trousers that have a hint of green in the colouring. Ray Fisher’s Cyborg costume will be a digital creation but designs showed that the part-robot, part-human hero will certainly be more robot. “It’s pretty clear that there isn’t much of Vic Stone still in there. He has this red light emanating from his chest, and his arm can turn into a gun. When he goes into full battle mode his whole face gets covered,” wrote Faraci.

The main event is The Flash’s costume. Ezra Miller will be sporting a costume that’s exactly as red as fans will hope. It’s “bright and primary” according to Faraci. The costume is supposed to be the product of Barry Allen’s makeshift designs, cobbled together from high tech materials (including some he may have stolen from Waynetech).

Flash’s costume is also covered in wires that conduct the character’s energy while moving at super-speed. The writer wasn’t sure about this aspect until he saw the outfit in action. “It’s a really sleek costume, so his silhouette is unique, and at a distance you can’t quite tell how immensely busy it is or how many wires are on it. This may be yet another superhero costume that looks way better in action than it does on a mannequin (so many of them are like that).”

Warner Bros revealed the looks of its characters early on in production of 'Batman v Superman’ so may well do so again. Warner Bros offering the first look at an assembled Justice League later this year at San Diego Comic Con sounds like a safe bet.

The film itself, is set for release on 17 November 2017.
