Justice League Fan Art Imagines Resurrected Superman With Long Hair
Let’s dive straight into ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ spoilers… At the very end of Zack Snyder’s superhero clash the man of steel dies in his battle with Doomsday.
It’s a moment that spurs Batman (Ben Affleck) to form the Justice League with Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), but we already know that - as is so often the case in the comic book world - Kal El’s death won’t stick.

In the famed 'Death of Superman’ storyline that inspired 'Dawn of Justice’s climatic moments, Superman’s demise is short-lived too.
When he does return, its with some gloriously long hair, and it’s this that’s inspired some fantastic fan-art from artist George Evangelista.
“I’ve always wanted to do something like these [drawings] after watching 'Batman v Superman’,” he wrote in a post on his Facebook page sharing his work.
“I have much bigger plans for this version of Superman coming very soon,” he added. “Despite the negative and mixed reviews DC has been getting lately I am still pumped to see more of the universe.”
It’s certainly impressive. Squint a bit and it could even pass for a photo from the film itself.
We don’t know for sure whether Superman will appear with this barnet in 'Justice League’, but Snyder has certainly hinted at it.
We’ll have to wait until November 2017 to find out the state of Superman’s mane and how he makes his comeback, when 'Justice League’ hits cinemas.
