New Harry Potter Story About Dolores Umbridge Arrives On Halloween
J.K. Rowling will release a new Harry Potter story about evil Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher Dolores Umbridge.
Fittingly, the story will arrive on Halloween (31 October) on the Pottermore website.
The 1,700-word piece will delve into the backstory of Umbridge and provide Rowling’s own insight into the character.
The press release reads: “Umbridge is not only one of the most malicious Potter characters—she is the only person other than Lord Voldemort to leave a permanent physical scar on Harry.”
Smoking Daniel Radcliffe’s Bizarre New Role
Umbridge was played superbly by Imelda Staunton in the film series.
This year we’ve already seen a short story on Pottermore about the Quidditch World Cup that revealed some juicy gossip about what happened to the famous trio from the books, including marriage problems for Harry.
Hopefully the new story will just as revealing.
It’s an exciting time to be a Potter fan at the moment, with three ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’ films announced by Warner Bros. last month.
