Watch The First Teaser For Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk
Warner Bros. has officially released the first teaser for Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk’ following a leak overnight.
A rough version of the short trailer appeared online yesterday, but now the full 56 second clip can be watched above in full HD.
The teaser (which is attached to ‘Suicide Squad’ screenings in cinemas) doesn’t give much away, with none of the main cast appearing on screen, but it follows in the tradition of previous Nolan teasers acting more like a mood board for the film than a traditional story-driven trailer.
Nolan’s assembled a stellar cast for his WW2 story set around the 1940 Dunkirk evacuation with Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance, Cillian Murphy starring alongside newcomers Fionn Whitehead and One Direction singer Harry Styles, making his feature film acting debut.

The combination of ‘Interstellar’ and ‘Spectre’ DOP Hoyte van Hoytema’s bleak cinematography and the ticking clock soundtrack suggests we’re in for a fraught experience from Nolan as men frantically cling onto their lives and sanity waiting for their deliverance from the approaching Germans.
‘Dunkirk’ is coming to cinemas in 70mm, 35mm, and IMAX in 2017.
