The epic new trailer for Zack Snyder's cut of Justice League has landed online, and despite the apocalyptic vibes, it's Jared Leto's painted Joker who steals the show.
Leto's Clown Prince of Crime was not in the originally released movie, but he's back in Snyder's new version.
Snyder revealed last week that he appears to Ben Affleck's Batman in a dream sequence, a glimpse of which we get here.
And he even manages to slip in a meme too – the We Live In A Society meme, which in the past has even been misattributed to the Joker in the past, but is generally used as a kind of outsider rallying call.
“We live in a society,” Joker says huskily, wearing a SWAT vest, “where honour is a distant memory.”
The meme-worthiness was not lost on Leto...
Nor was it lost on others...
The entire development of Zack Snyder's Justice League was just a years long prank to put "We live in a society" into a trailer

The trailer also finds Ray Fisher's Cyborg featured a little more heavily – hinting that his role could be more pivotal than in the first time around.
Snyder stepped away from the original Justice League movie during its post-production period in 2017, following the tragic death of his daughter.

Joss Whedon took over the reigns, but delivered a different vision to that of Snyder – it was panned by critics and disappointed at the box office.
After a successful fan petition and a multi-million dollar budget for his reshoots, Snyder is now set to present a four-hour epic to US streaming platform HBO Max.
It's set to land in the US next month, though the plan for the UK release remains unconfirmed.
