New photo from John Wick Chapter 2 reveals Enter The Dragon homage
Looks like action sequel ‘John Wick Chapter 2’ will pay homage to one of the most memorable sequences from one of the greatest action movies ever made.
Empire have a new interview with star Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski, along with two new stills from the upcoming film, one of which is in a setting not unlike that of the final showdown in Bruce Lee classic ‘Enter the Dragon.’

We see a hall of mirrors, in which new villains Riccardo Scamarcio and Ruby Rose stroll down a staircase in sharp suits with guns drawn… which, let’s face it, probably means Reeves’ titular hitman is likely to shoot them both without breaking a sweat (but who knows?)
Nor is the similarity to Bruce Lee’s 1973 hit in any way an accident, as Reeves explains:
“The mirror room was Chad’s idea. It’s his homage to Bruce Lee at the end of ‘Enter The Dragon.’
“The whole installation is a maze of mirrors where guys can pop out and disappear. It’s very cool and a lot of fun to fight in.”
Reeves also offers up an intriguing culinary description of how ‘John Wick Chapter 2’ will compare to the action-packed 2014 original: “It’s like going back to your favourite restaurant but this time, instead of getting to the fillet, you’re getting the porterhouse.”
No doubt most of us will happily settle for a bucket of popcorn when ‘John Wick Chapter 2’ hits UK cinemas on 17 February 2017.
