Ronan Farrow blasts Woody Allen on Twitter

Ronan Farrow took to Twitter during the Golden Globes last night to lay into his estranged father Woody Allen as the director was honoured with the Cecil B. Demille lifetime achievement award.

The 26-year-old son of Allen and Mia Farrow tweeted "did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?” after Diane Keaton had collected the award on behalf of Allen who was unable to attend the ceremony.

The blast is the latest in a long line of derogatory tweets from activist Farrow, whose latest outburst refers to allegations of molestation against Allen brought about by Mia Farrow back in 1992, who accused the film-maker of sexually abusing her adopted daughter Dylan.

Allen denied molesting the 7-year-old child and the court case was eventually dropped, reportedly to save Dylan from having to publicly testify. Woody Allen split from Mia Farrow in 1992 after the director had begun relations with Farrow’s adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn, who he married in 1997.

"He's my father married to my sister,” commuted Ronan after the wedding, "That makes me his son and his brother-in-law. That is such a moral transgression.... I cannot have a relationship with my father and be morally consistent.”

Last year he fanned the flames once more tweeting, "Happy father's day -- or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law's day.”

In October 2013 Mia Farrow suggested that Frank Sinatra was likely to be Ronan's biological father in an interview with Vanity Fair, although no DNA tests have ever been done to prove it.

Ronan wasn’t the only Farrow apparently displeased with Allen’s honorary Globe as his mother Mia took to Twitter to let her followers know she had turned off the live show.

Cate Blanchett picked up a Best Actress Golden Globe award last night for her highly-praised turn in Woody Allen’s latest film ‘Blue Jasmine’.
