Four new men have come forward with claims that they were sexually assaulted by Bryan Singer when they were children.

The Bohemian Rhapsody director is the subject of a new expose in The Atlantic which presents the testimonies of these men who claim they were raped and/or molested while underaged in the 90s.

Three of the men used pseudonyms out of fear of reprisals or backlash but one man, Victor Valdovinos, went public with his accusation of being molested on the set of Apt Pupil when he was 13-years-old.

The report claims that Singer had sex with one man, identified as Andy, when he was 15 while another man, going by Eric, says he had sex with him when he was 7. The third accuser, Ben, claims he had oral sex with the director when he was 17 or 18.

“He would stick his hands down your pants without consent,” the man told the Atlantic. “He was predatory in that he would ply people with alcohol and drugs and then have sex with them.”

Andy also claims that Singer was calling the actor Brad Renfro his boyfriend despite being 15 at the time.

“I don’t think Brad was gay, or even bi,” Andy recalled of a time he claims to have been invited to bed with Singer and the Apt Pupil star. “I think he was going with the flow. We talked about it. Like me, he looked around at all of the things these guys had, all of the money. Maybe he thought the guys were going to do things for him.”

Renfro died of a drug overdose in 2008 aged 25.

Reporters Alex French and Maximillian Potter say they “spent 12 months investigating various lawsuits and allegations against Singer [and] spoke with more than 50 sources, including four men who have never before told their stories to reporters.”

Singer had spoken late last year in defence of himself against the article which he claimed was going to published by Esquire magazine.

His lawyer says Singer has never had sex with underaged boys and has denied various elements of the accusers’ accounts.

Singer was fired three weeks before completion of Bohemian Rhapsody after allegedly falling out with the cast and crew. The film has gone on to make millions, earn a couple of Golden Globes and is nominated for a few Oscars.
