The Warriors Three are back in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’.
Well… at least, two of them will be.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is currently filming in Australia, with Chris Hemsworth suiting up once more as everyone’s favourite Norse god. But with rumours that some of his Asgardian pals will be returning in the upcoming sequel, it looks as though Thor is in good company.
And that includes Hogun the Grim and Volstagg the Voluminous.
Appearing on Instagram, actor Tadanobu Asano revealed that he’s currently in Australia… where ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is filming.
“Hello Australia,” says the image caption.
Of course, that’s no confirmation that he’s in the movie.
But in what is likely no mere coincidence, fellow ‘Thor’ actor Ray Stevenson was also spotted in the country – getting some ink done ‘in between filming’.
“Look who just stopped by our Gold Coast studio, to get some ink in between filming THOR!” said tattoo studio Punktured Tattoo. “It’s Ray Stevenson! Awesome work on the tatt Dai! #punkturedtattoo #tattoo #thor #raystevenson #punktured”
Of course, none of this is official… but it seems obvious that Asano and Stevenson are likely in the country to film scenes for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’. And with a movie which largely centres on the realm of Asgard, that makes a lot of sense.
Unfortunately, the last of the Warriors Three - Fandral the Dashing (played by Zachary Levi) – is yet to be spotted on set.
But surely the Warriors Three will reunite for Thor’s latest big adventure?
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ stars Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, Karl Urban, Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Hopkins, Tessa Thompson and Jeff Goldblum.
Taika Waititi will direct, based on a screenplay by Stephanie Folsom, Craig Kyle, Eric Pearson and Christopher Yost.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ heads to cinemas on 27 October 2017.
