Will Doctor Strange Appear In Thor: Ragnarok?

It looks as though ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ will feature Doctor Strange.

At least, in passing.

It’s no secret that ‘Thor: Ragnarok; is currently filming… and some impressive new images reveal Thor and Loki together on set. But which Marvel heroes will feature in the upcoming ‘Thor’ sequel?

Doctor Strange may be one of them.

Appearing on Twitter, some new set images from ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ have been doing the rounds… but it looks as though one of them may hint at an appearance from Doctor Strange.

As you can see, the above image features our hero Thor on the streets of New York City… and that business card suggests that he’s looking for a particular address: 177A Bleecker St.

That’s right – Doctor Strange’s home and Sanctum Sanctorum.

Does this mean we’ll get a Doctor Strange cameo in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’?

By the time ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ appears in cinemas in 2017, we will have already seen Benedict Cumberbatch don the iconic sorcerer’s cape… and Thor might well need his help. After all, the God of Thunder (and his brother, Loki) will be going up against some pretty mysterious (and supernatural) villains in the form of Cate Blanchett’s Hela – aka The Asgardian goddess of death.

But will they find Doctor Strange?

And will he be able to help?

It’s currently unknown whether Benedict Cumberbatch will be making a cameo appearance in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’… but either way, it looks as though his presence will be felt. After all, they clearly think they need the help of the greatest sorcerer in the Marvel universe.

Whether or not they get it… that’s another matter entirely.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Karl Urban, Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Hopkins, and Jeff Goldblum.

Taika Waititi will direct based on a script by Stephanie Folsom, Craig Kyle, Eric Pearson and Christopher Yost.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ heads to cinemas on 27 October 2017.
