First Look At Thor: Ragnarok Costumes

It’s our first look at the costumes from ‘Thor: Ragnarok’.

Although Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston were forced to wear cloaks earlier this week to hide their ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ costumes, it looks as though one Instagram user has given us a MUCH closer look at their new threads.

In fact, we’ve got close ups of Thor, Loki and even Odin.

Appearing on Instagram (via CBM), this not-so-mysterious ‘Thor’ fan is pictures alongside Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and even Sir Anthony Hopkins - posing with them on set.

As you can see, the stars of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ aren’t exactly show about having their photos taken with this guy… so it stands to reason that Juan Miguel here is pretty close to the film’s production. In fact, it looks as though he might even be Sir Anthony Hopkins’ assistant.

Either way, these new images give us a close look at the ‘Thor 3’ costumes.

Most obviously, Thor’s costume has seemingly had a complete redesign and features an entirely new torso. There’s a lot more leather this time around, with far fewer bells and whistles.

Meanwhile, Odin is outfitted in bright orange robes as well as that trademark gold eyepatch. It’s a rather striking look, but quite what it means is anyone’s guess.

Loki’s costume seems to have seen the least changes. Again, he’s sporting more leather this time around, but the style of Loki’s suit is very similar to the one we saw in ‘Thor: The Dark World’.

Taika Waititi is directing based on a script by Stephanie Folsom, Craig Kyle, Eric Pearson and Christopher Yost.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ heads to cinemas on 27 October 2017.
